Management is okay, but they move at a glacial pace for most things, the only way things ever got done in a timely manner was when we befriended the maintenance guy. The apartment we rented was dirtier when we moved in than when we left, and still they kept nearly all of our deposit. The cost to fix little things like an outlet cover was outrageous($7).
Bottom line: it's okay for the price, but don't expect much.

For over 18 year's that i have lived in retenal properties across the country. But i nevet felt more welcomed and appreciated than my four year stay at Legecy Appartments in Waite Park Mn. I couldn't have asked for a more hospitable, undersntand and gracious property managment team lead Krissy kubacki. The managment team&attitude and efforts are matched and their over all service is superb. Krissy& team truly made me feel comfortable , secure and appreciated and for that i am deeply thankfull.
The amenities are nice, the distance to stores and fast food is convenient, there are usually laundry machines available, and there are two separate laundry rooms. The playground in the back is nice. And that's about it when it comes to good.
I lived legacy apartments since summer of 2010 up to now. since then we had all great managers, but Kristi and her Stuff are wonderful, they help you what ever you want from them. Kristi and John maintenance guys helped us out when I locked my children in my car at the garage last summer. I will never forget their hospitality until the towing guy arrived. if I move out this apartment that means I buy my own house or move out of town. I am definitely recommended to this place.
And upon move out, you can bet the deposit will take a severe hit.

As I was writing the original post for this review, I exceeded the character limit amount for the post, because I have so many good things to say about Legacy Apartments. Here is the shortened version. If you want a good place to live, somewhere with a decent amount of square footage for a decent rent rate, somewhere you can make yourself a temporary home, as most people rent until they can afford a house, Legacy is the place to do just that! I lived here for 3 years from the time I was almost 22 to the time I was almost 25. My now husband and I just moved a month ago, after we got married, for a job he was hired for. In the 3 years that I lived there and the 1.5 years my boyfriend, then fiancé, and now husband lived there with me, were some of the most memorable years of my life that I wouldn’t trade for anything in the world! Krissy, the manager, is amazing! She has a heart of gold and a smile that will warm your heart! She has always been extremely kind and good to me, which proves she has a beautiful soul and a caring compassionate heart. If she sees one of the tenants in the hallways, she always says hello and calls them by name, which is hard to do over the years when people move in and others move out. Her staff is extremely friendly and helpful. If anything ever needed fixing in my apartment, her maintenance staff were there within 24 hours with a phone call before hand notifying me when they could be up at their earliest convenience. During the summer, the pool is really nice and during the winter…. Especially around Spring Break when we have time off from school, sitting in the hot tub is like being on vacation. The tenants at this rental property are all extremely friendly, they all say hello to you in the hallway, they all hold the doors open for you, it’s like a little community. I have zero complaints when it comes to the 3 wonderful years I was able to spend making Legacy my temporary home and I will NEVER forget the memories I made there. Side Note: Legacy is close to Aldi which is GREAT, it is also close to many shopping places, fast food, and restaurants. Starbucks and Fugi Steakhouse are within walking distance, so are many other places. If you’re worried about crime, don’t. They patrol the apartments very well and I always felt safe coming home from work at the late hours I was scheduled. My friends would leave late as well… past midnight… and they have had zero problems. I have lived there for 3 years, and my car was NEVER broken into whether I parked in the parking lot or the garage. I felt extremely safe at Legacy and would recommend living here.
