I've lived away from Saint Cloud for a long time now, but still go to Cash Wise when I visit my parents. And wow!! How much difference a couple years makes!!
I like how self-service kiosks is located on the south side of the store, making it easier to check out if you have a few items. That really helps filtering out people with 100+ items in their carts, saving many of our times. Hey anyone remember the pop samples they had 30+ years ago but took it out? I still wonder why these days... memories!
Having once lived in Saint Cloud, I can say that Cash Wise used to be one of the worst stores in the area. Having gained a monopoly on general grocery in the area after the departure of Cub Foods, Cash Wise jacked their prices sky-high, left their stores filthy and let their customer service go to pieces.
Love their deli. Salad bar is choose what you want, pay by weight. Good selection, make a taco salad, other choices. Pizza. Chicken, etc,etc. Delicious soup.

Suffice to say that Cash Wise has become one of my favourite places to shop, even though I no longer live in the Saint Cloud area. Whenever I visit my parents, I always stop here and drop around US $50 to $100 on stuff to bring back home with me.
Cash Wise has come back into its own at the very same time that Cub Foods all but lost its soul.
The stores are clean, the customer service friendly as can be once again...and the prices have dropped drastically!! Their selection has also skyrocketed; they have things in stock when stores in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area don't!!
Minnesota is a great place for fresh food, and Cash Wise makes a huge effort to take advantage while being reasonable about the prices.
Fantastic selection on pretty much anything, and prices are great. They also have some of the freshest produce you can find anywhere, they often carry seasonal items that literally come from a local farm.
Really good prices with a very large selection. Love the bulk sale choices as well! You do end up waiting in line for quite a bit of time though.
