called the store in advance and spoke with Brett. I wanted to deal with an expert not your typical big box employee who can scarcely find product on their shelf let alone answer technical questions. After talking to Brett, I felt certain I would be satisfied.

I went into the Waite park store and Nick helped me...cause Robb was too busy giving a dead stare out the front window. Should have left based on greeting. Immediate confusion and what appeared to be total lack of knowledge and competency.

NOPE!!! Should have gone to Walmart!! Unbelievable.

Seriously? I can't say if the product is any good but the help was awful! Terrible. On Friday I even heard one female employee say it wasn't her fault cause she wasn't the one that screwed up. Robb broke his stare and wandered to the back room.

Update...So if you've read my review you will know that I had a bad experience at the store. Here's an update.

Bottom line is I'm frustrated and I'm heading over to Hirshfields to get the paint and supplies I need. Beware...these guys don't know Thier product as well as you'd expect them to and they're terribly disorganized.

Service

The store manager did contact me to discuss my experience. I give him credit for digging in. However he didn't really resolve the issue. He indicated that some of the employees at the store are "college kids" and they are not "experts on the thousands of products they sell". Fair enough. But I say there are plenty of examples of young staff at various specialty stores who also are involved in the sale of thousands of products and they do an excellent job of representing them. (Think Scheels Sports or Best Buy). Bottom line you just can't undo first impressions. But I believe Aaron when he said he was sorry for the issue and that he is striving to improve his store. Good luck with that. I've changed my rating from 1 star to 3. Perhaps we should just come to expect moderately poor service from "experts".

Well I overlooked the obvious shortcomings and placed my order. Was told I could not actually get it that day because there was some gimmicky sale on Friday . So....another trip to town Friday evening...guess what. Robb was there giving the death stare to the window and Nick and Brett were not there and my paint wasn't ready and the incompetence and confusion set in.

Great paint, great service.
